The Vermont State Fair
162 years of tradition, this year the fair runs August 31st through September 8th. Rides, games, exhibits, and shows. This year John Micheal Montgomery will be performing on Saturday September 1st.

 The State Fairgrounds are directly across the street from the hotel!

Come Visit The Real Vermont
Vermont lays claim to the largest deer herd in New England. There are numerous covered bridges throughout the state, one just minutes from the hotel.  Come take a drive in the country...

Fall Foliage
If you catch the weather right, the fall colors are simply spectacular! Peak time is usually around the middle of October.

                         Art in the Park                            Several times a year Art in The Park happens in the Main Street Park. Paintings, photograhs and crafts by artists from all over New England. For a list of dates and other events go to Rutland Downtown.

World Class Skiing
The Econo Lodge of Rutland is located 12 miles from Killington, the largest ski area east of the Mississippi River. You can pay over $200.00 a night for lodging on the mountain during the ski season. You can stay with us for less than half of that.
